Welcome to the Leeton Phantoms Website!! Season 2008

Leeton, situated in the heart of the MIA, it's side the Phantoms, are traditionally known as a strong rugby side with a reputation for having a bloody good time.  It seems everyone that has anything to do with rugby has played for, or been associated with the Leeton Phantoms.

Stalwarts of the Southern Inland competition in the past, the Phantoms are now fielding two teams in the competition in 2008.   With active recruiting and some keen young players the Phantoms were able to defy the odds and having two teams will strengthen the club going forward. Though still strong, we are always looking for new players and supporters to welcome into the club.

With the huge amount of supporters that exist all over the world, we encourage everyone to take advantage of the forum on this website, to keep up to date with our success in the southern inland competition and also to keep in touch with old mates, after all that is what country rugby is all about!!

With the reincarnation of the skull cave last year, 2008 is the best time to come back and watch a game and relive the old days at the cave.  With a change to the competition structure,  new players joining the club and some promising youngsters, season 2008 could be the catalyst for the rise of the mighty Phantoms of old.

Phantoms, we're the Phantoms, we're the mighty drinking rugby team!!!!!!

Players please use the forum to check for updates or just to waste time!!

(Really I don't think we need an excuse)
